Here at the Academy of Self Defense we value your business and want to be the first to tell you how happy we are that you are considering starting your martial arts journey with us.  We believe that karate is meant to enhance one’s life, whether you are 3 or 93, and our commitment is to do everything within our power to make that a reality for each and every student.

We have been teaching martial arts in the Grand Valley since 1982 and have developed specialized programs for preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults.  We have helped hundreds of kids and adults experience the best the martial arts has to offer.
